So much to do, so little time to do it.

With only 3 days to go before the big kick off, the decisions as to what to finish and what to leave get harder.

In the South wing of the gite, we now have tiled and grouted floors, tiled and grouted bath/shower, hot and cold running water, working sockets and lights. What we don't have is filled and painted walls, curtains, bedroom door, loft hatch.

In the North wing of the gite, we have partly tiled and grouted the main bedroom, we have hot and cold running water, working sockets and lights. We don't have tiles on the floor in the bathroom, we haven't finished the plasterboarding, we haven't boxed in the pipes and electrics, we have no curtains and no bedroom door.

In the kitchen, we have partly tiled and grouted the floor, we have fitted the kitchen sink, we have hot and cold running water. We haven't changed the lights, dry lined the ceiling, plastered the walls and as yet, we don't have a door to the outside world or to the living room.

In the living room, we have finished the lights and the floor has been concreted. Say no more.

In the utility room we have finished the shower complete with hot and cold running water, we have a working toilet and kitchen sink, we have lights and sockets. The list of things to do here is so vast I just won't bother.

On top of all that, the grass needs mowing, beds need moving and making, we are expecting piglets imminently, we have a sick horse again, we have moved Mr Pig into his own field and we have the benefits of Gregs assistance once more this week, my hero, anyhow enough time spent blogging, I have work to do.
