As we near the end of yet another weeks holiday in France with Jane & Andrew, I was tasked with being the first person to ride Surprise. I was slightly weary as she has never been riden before and its a long way down!! After coercing her with a bucket of food Andrew managed to get her to stand next to stalls in the barn to enable me to climb on. Well that was achieved and then she started to move.. it was a very tense moment as she wasn't looking very happy with me sat on her back. Needless to say she left the barn and walked as far as the gravel area where she refused to go any further!! After gentle persuasion with the remaining food from the bucket she walked back to the barn where i gladly dismounted. The shortest horse ride in history!!! For those of you who are getting witdrawl symptoms i have also added puppy and piglet pictures.
