We have had a fabulous week with the weather. The evenings are chilly but we have had over 20 degrees all week. Thierry has cut the grass for us and the softball pitch is looking good. It is in a different field this year just in case anyone thinks they know the good places to hit to!!!!
Chris, Jane and Erin have just left after a week in the country. They managed to fit in trips to Caen, Falaise and the zoo at Jurques during their week. They did bring good weather which was lovely.
Peter has settled into school really well. He even runs in on occasions. The sleep in the afternoon is now not an issue, although I am not sure if he actually sleeps. He comes home very tired after his long day but the important thing is that he enjoys it. His new words for the week are "pommes de terre".
Kirsty and Josh are enjoying their new terms and Josh is almost over the fact that his best friend has left. He is still playing with Coline which is the good news, she is lovely. Kirsty is still a swot and has started her swimming lessons this term. She will be a fish in no time.
I have had my contract extended until January and we are hoping that some more permanent contracts appear in the next few months. I am now going to be working on the english service for one of the other regions in France. An exciting new project which I am looking forward to.
Andrew is still working hard here and is looking forward to one of the best helpers arriving on Friday. I think he has plans!!!!!.................
