All going on in the green house

It's been a busy few weeks in the garden and greenhouse. Making the most of the glorious weather I've managed to get all the grass down to a sensible length again so the weekly 6 hour mowing routine can commence once again for another 6 months. My first seeds of the year have started to poke their heads out in the propagator and some of my strawberries have come into flower.

In the greenhouse, I have completed the construction and installation of my hydroponics system. All I need now is some fish and I can start work growing some very special vegetables and salads. I completed the finishing touches this morning by installing a power supply to the green house to run the pumping system which means no more extension lead across the drive.

With the help of French David, I managed to get the rest of the big logs out of the valley but I think now that I may well need to fell a couple more trees. Luckily Gordy arrives tomorrow so, subject to the weather holding out, we may well get them cut then. Even if it does rain though, it'll just mean we'll have to drink beer instead.
